Putting sensor problem.

I get intermittent problem when putting the onscreen ball barely travel a few inches even though I hit the ball for a 12 footer putt.

Also, how far back from the sensor are you supposed to place the ball?

Usually just behind the sensors. It captures that initial ball speed.

the advice I got is 4 inches for short putts and 8 inches for longer putts from protee, I would make sure that you once in a while clean the plexiglass on putting sensor and make sure that no debris or obstructions are causing an issue

Turned out the two openings were cut too wide causing the ball to skip & hop over the sensor rows. I made a new piece with the 2 cutouts the same as the width of the sensor slit and the ball no longer skip. Problem solved.

Thank you for the 4 & 8 inches distance ball placement, I'll use that guideline.
