Protee VX confused by white Birtees

Finally got around to working with driver a little bit and found a glitch. The #6 and up white Birtee confuses the VX and makes it think there are 2 balls in view. #5 and below seems to be OK or at least it will say ready for shot, but I'm wondering if the tee flying out confuses the flight path.

My son was using shorter tees (I'm terrified of him skying one into the VX for now) and didn't have any issues that I could tell.

Simplest fix would seem to be going to another color tee, but I'm curious if it's the color or just the tee itself that it thinks is a ball and I'll need to figure out another solution.

Anyone using other color Birtees and having any issues?

I bought some of the rubber bird tees on Amazon. The driver one is orange. They are for my buddy that can't seem to get a ball to stay on a tee. They don't do that. Amazon sells them in black too. Maybe try one of those.

I can’t speak directly to the VX, but I know from previous experience that the SkyTrak has issues with the white Birtees as well, but the black ones have worked flawlessly for me.

Got confirmation from Protee that the white tee was causing problems in the shot and it's something they are working on.

Ordered some black birtees and tried them out last night and had no problems.

All camera based units will get confused by white tees, white shoes, white socks, white drivers etc.
