  • Connection issues

    Having lots of connecting errors between unit and software. Have to keep restarting software and restarting the protee. Have switched off the firewall and anti virus. Any suggestions?

    Connected to the Protee when I first set it up this morning but now says that connection failed. Rebooting the Protee and/or the PC works but even that is not consistent.

    Hi there. Did you end up solving your connection issue? I'm in same boat. Protee has got on remote session twice and haven't solved my problem. Just wondering if you found a solution

      Replacing cables solved my issues, not a Protee though.

        I am going to try that today as for some reason it won't connect at all ethernet direct, only if using the adapter - USB 3.0

      Seems to have resolved itself after the first couple of days. Someone else on FB also said that his connection issues also self resolved after a few days.

        I wish that was the case but it's going on a couple of weeks now with no luck. Frustrating.....

        Have you tried a new cable, new ethernet to USB adapter and direct to ethernet port? Shut down antivirus and firewalls?

      Did you guys ever solve this? My just out of the box Protee VX won't connect at all. I've spent several hours trying to troubleshoot it now and no luck.
