  • High-FPS Camera Modes (120–150 fps) Disappeared After ProTee VX Update

    Hi everyone,

I’m running into a problem with the latest ProTee VX software update, and I want to share it here so others can confirm whether they experience the same behavior.

    Issue Summary
Before the recent ProTee VX update (installed 1 day ago), my camera (OBSBOT Meet SE) was fully recognized by ProTee as supporting 1280×720 @ 150 fps.
This high-fps mode was available in the ProTee “Camera Resolution” dropdown and worked perfectly for impact & slow-motion replay.

After the update, the exact same camera only shows 30 fps modes:
    • 1280×720 @ 30 fps
    • 1920×1080 @ 30 fps
    • 640×480 @ 30 fps

No high-fps options are available anymore.

Nothing else changed on my system:
    • The camera still supports 720p 150 fps in OBSBOT Center (manufacturer software)
    • OBS also sees the camera’s high-fps modes
    • But Windows Camera App shows only up to 720p 60 fps, meaning the latest ProTee VX is now detecting only the strict UVC modes and ignoring the extended high-fps modes.
Before the update, ProTee VX clearly allowed selecting non-standard UVC high-fps camera modes.
After the update, these modes have completely disappeared.

    What This Suggests
    The update appears to have:
    • Restricted camera enumeration to UVC-standard framerates only
    • Removed support for extended / proprietary high-fps webcam modes
    • Broken compatibility with cameras that previously worked at 120–150 fps
This is a major issue for users relying on high-speed swing or impact replay.

    Request for clarification
Can the ProTee team please confirm:
    1. Was high-fps camera support intentionally removed in the latest VX update?
    2. Is this a bug, or a deliberate limitation added for stability reasons?
    3. Will support for extended high-fps modes return in a future update?
    4. Is there a recommended workaround for users who previously used 120–150 fps cameras?
High-fps swing video is extremely important for many of us using ProTee VX, and losing access to this functionality after an update is a significant setback.

    System details
    • Camera: OBSBOT Meet SE
      • Supports 720p @ 150 fps (verified in OBSBOT Center)
    • Windows Camera App: max 720p @ 60 fps
    • ProTee VX: only shows 720p @ 30 fps after update
    • OS: Windows 11
    • All drivers up to date
If anyone else has seen the same behavior, please comment—especially if your high-fps options also disappeared after updating VX.

    Thanks!
