Second light

I'm sure this has been talked about but I can't seem to find it.
Hitting a Protee from a offset location into the screen and one light above the main sensor. If i buy a putting sensor down the road, the second light will be centered above the putting sensor due to having to put to center of screen.
If I don't buy the putting sensor, will the system work well without the putting light?

My v cam isn't picking up the ball so great. It is doing better now after a protee ticket I opened and they suggested I go to pt4 method and have all the camera settings on auto except fps. I see a few people suggest pt1 so that's what I had it on. Now it picks up everything in the result frame but the diagonal line track the ball instead of my hands. I still get some shots where it picks up my hands and gives me the balooning loop shot that I have seen in this forum. The last question protee asked was do I have 2 lights? I answered I had one and my understanding was that is acceptable. They have not gotten back to me on that answer. I have it right above the tee. Long story short would the second light make v cam more accurate.

I do not have putting sensor either and that's why only one light.
