Is their different tee boxes on tgc?
When I pick a course I can't change anything? Is each course only a certain length and you have to play it from those boxes?

Yes. Each course has only one set of tee boxes.

Many of the courses out there are very long since they were designed for video games (xbox, etc.). If you want shorter, search using "Protee" in the name and you'll get a bunch of courses in the 6000-6600 range. Often the same course will be listed more than once at different distances
