Soft chips not detected - no audio detected

The audio gain pot might need to be exercised or increased. There are two pots on the board. The audio gain pot is the little blue pot(potentiometer) near the edge of the circuit board. Turn it fully clockwise to open it all the way. Mark the original spot first. 1/4 turn should be enough.

When taking apart your sensor mat for it's annual cleaning, I would suggest everybody exercise this pot.

Got my cams working and noticed the "no audio detected" started to happen. Should I tweak this pot with a brand new system? I also noticed this mouse issue - http://csc.protee-united.com/entries...nd-Play-system. Not sure if the mouse issue is related or not. I will apply the mouse fix when I get home thursday but wanted to ask about the audio detection error to see if its related to anything else. Lastly - all I have changed so far in the cam setup is the frame rate and shutter speed. All other settings were left at default (the shots looked good so I hit the range! ) After a few detected shots and a few audio errors I had to shut down to head out of town. Not sure if tweaking the cams will help with the audio issue either...

Just to clarify - what do you think is causing the audio detection error? Is it the mouse serial conflict, current cam settings or something else?

Should I edit these settings?

Audio sensibility clubs = 4db
Audio noise reduction = 6db

If so suggestions on what range of numbers to try.

You should definitely fix the mouse issue. set all audio sliders to the farthest left.
