Club data question

Can someone explain how this club data is possible with a straight shot? I have been struggling with getting the club data to be correct and a shot like this doesn't make sense to me. As you can see its a straight ball with no side spin. I did just a 1/4 swing 6 iron so I am confident that I hit a straight one. The shot hit center on my impact screen and the H-cam ball streak confirmed that it was straight.

How is a 4 degree out to in path and a 4 degree closed clubface able to produce a straight shot? Is this a bug, or do I need to adjust my settings to be in sync with each other? My hcam seems to be working great, the club data just doesn't seem to be in synch with it.

These are the current face and path settings for my irons.

Club_path_correction_Iron= -4 (without the space)
Club_face_correction_Iron= 1 (without the space)

Defaults are -3 for path and 2 for face. I changed the path to -4 because I felt that it has been reporting to much outside to in swings. I also changed the face to 1 thinking I need to keep the face to path relationship the same. For this shot face to path was reported as zero which make sense but I still think that this shot should have been a 4 degree pull to the left. Let me know what I am missing here.

Does protee give the angle of attack? If so what was it for this shot. I'm not 100% but if you swing left you need to hit down to send it straight. Not sure exactly how much down with that path but i think its dooable

. I go with close to the recommended setting that Zmax has posted for the 2 settings you listed. I have 8 players that use my sim and we all think it is very close. I think we adjusted the club path one number either way and found happiness.

Another thing to check is the alignment of the H cam. I ran a string and got it square then set my camera off that. If the cam showed the ball to be straight and it hit the center of the screen then something is not aligned right. My guess is the sensor pad is not square to the camera or the screen. But it could be in the settings you use too. Start with Zax's settings and see if you can duplicate.

Thanks for the quick replies! Camera has been aligned with a laser level as well as the sensor pad along that line. I have checked it multiple times so I am pretty sure its not an alignment issue.

I have also seen this type of behavior with the default settings as well as zmax settings. I my mind I don't swing that much out to in or with a face that closed. Lessons with my local pro have me normally swinging in to out with a tendency to open up the face vs close it. I am hoping its something is weird with the settings. Btw I have noticed that around a year ago they were defaulted to zero per zmax's settings explained thread and now they default to -3 and 2, curious of the change and why. No matter what I set them to, I get wacky readings that don't seem to match what my hcam is reporting.

Interested in how much angle of attack I need to hit it straight with that club data. If I remember it was about 3 degrees down. ProTee does display an angle of attack, but only in the interface screen. I am assuming its a calculation vs. a measurement.

Hogan would that angle of attack work or would I need something more severe for it to adhere to current ball flight laws?
