    The Big Hook.

I know that previously I had some messed up settings and Protee helped me get them straightened out.( along with Bubba) Now the only big problem I have is that I have been having a big hook on my driver and woods.

I am left-handed and I have worked to get rid of an over the top move and the resultant slice that occurs. Now at my weekly golftec lesson, I am consistently at 4-5 degree in to out with my driver. Protee measures me at 8-10 degrees. So my typical drive is read by Protee as "8 degree in to out club path, 0 degree club face (mostly) and a ball path starting out at 0. This in protee gives me a big hook. Like 50 yards on a 240 yard drive.

I have checked my cameras and they are perfect. I must need to adjust for the alignment of the sensor and the circuit board.

How do I go about fixing this? Club path correction, face angle correction, both, which first???

I think that both the path numbers and the face numbers are off. I think that the camera is picking up the ball path very well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would do the Club path correction first.

      Thanks Bubba.

I made the adjustments to club path for the driver from -1 to +3. All the difference in the world for me. Now there is a nice draw that I expected. Similar corrections for the irons, wedges and woods were great as well. We will see how it changes things for my right-handed son.

Btw. when starting the changes I closed the protee program, made the changes to the interface, exited and restarted the programs. Nothing happened. So I decided to restart the computer also. This worked perfectly. I say this so that anyone else making adjustments knows that a restart may be needed before the new settings take effect.

I will play a few rounds before making any other tweaks. Hopefully none will be needed.

Usually you just need to close the program to see the changes. Glad to see the small adjustments made a difference. Hope to see you online in the TGC tour. Get a handicap yet? Come play on your.

I just got my handicap last night. Pretty close to my actual one 21 vs 22. I have not gotten into the online tour yet. I am looking forward to it soon.

Cool. Your set. Th next tourney is a fun one http://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum/...challenge-2015. No need to sign up. It's open to all TGC players with handicap. The tour resumes in Jan. We most likely will have a Ryder Cup Tournet in the new year once the next update happens.

aeroburner , yes I did get it fixed. It was the club path for me. I adjusted it 4 degrees in the settings, ALT-E.

I needed to adjust club path and face. But I do not remember what I set the club face to.

You can also check that gear effect is selected in the settings. I think that is -1 to turn it on.

Finally, I set my forgiveness at 30. That seems to be more accurate. Search forgiveness in the main page of the forum and there is a thread about it.

I hope this helps. I did some tweaking but mostly the defaults are very good.

Probably best to open a support ticket with Protee and follow their advice. Otherwise easy to make a mess of things.

I agree with this. I messed up once and then used protee.
