Skytrak height

ive new at this but I've been reading the skytrak needs to be level with the playing service however when I do this skytrak misses about 1 in 10 shots but if I raise it a few inches above the playing surface it reads everything. Just curious how accurate this is not being level?

i find it reads a little bit better slightly above surface as well esp for the high flops. on the other hand, if you have your unit slightly above surface, you might need to place ball an inch or so behind laser dot for it to read low fairway wood launches.

You're spot on on this. Now I just wish I had a SkyTrak stand or case that has 3 height settings that I can change at push of a button =)
