Perfect Golf Fly by of the Hole Feature?

I noticed that when playing user created courses the Hole Fly By feature (F key) doesnt work for me. It seems to work on Kissing Tree and the courses that come with JNPG. I've searched through the various forums but couldnt find an answer. Are you guys seeing the same behavior or am I missing something? Basically, F key works on some courses but not all.

I believe the course creator has to add the flyby path to their holes before uploading for download. If they don't do this, it doesn't work. That is my understanding...

Great, thanks for the info. I just wanted to confirm that I had my keys mapped correctly.

I think that's right. In over 12 months play I must have used flyby less then 5 times. The F3 (approach cam) is much more useful.

Yeah I never use it either. I either use F3 (approach cam) or F2 (green cam) or F5 to see any view I want. I haven't added Fly-by's to my own courses designed on JNPG East Lake and Farmlinks. Flyby's are cool one time but are too slow usually to be very useful. Neat to show off a hole in a video maybe is all...

I remember enjoying E6 flybys. They were at a good pace. Ever seen TGC flyby? They take what seems like minutes to go through the hole. Never used then other than 1 time. On E6 I had them on auto flyby cuz they were nice.

Sweet, thanks for the info! I didnt know about F3. I thought that the flyby was the only way to get an idea of the hole without going into freecam mode. Will try F3 tonight.
