    Rip Off Britain

Looking at SkyTrak and cannot believe the difference between US and UK prices.

SkyTrak is $1995 which is £1632 in the UK, but skyTrak want £1900.

If I could get it for £1632 I would have already bought it, but at £1900 plus a package I am wondering whether to take out a loan and get GC2

I suspect that the UK price is with VAT included and the US price is VAT excluded.
Order from US and you have to pay customs/VAT, unless you have a friend in the US that buys it for you and send it to you. Works like a charm, believe me.

Works like a charm, the process of buying in the US the the Skytrak works like a dream. Hoping you mean the latter

I don't think it's any different for the gc2 , think your looking at 7 and half grand. Pick your poison.

1632 * 1.2 = £1958. Price comparison is pretty much the same. A lot of American states have sales tax that is added on when they know where they are delivering it.

I know exactly what you mean...
My GC2 was about £4000 from the USA, or would have been over £6500 from Foresight UK.
I had a mate who works in Houston hand carry it back for me!

That was when a pound was equivalent to about 1.65 dollars!

I really want GC2, but my wife would kill me if she found out. I have spoken to foresight and they have a refurb for 3.8k, but not sure if thats including VAT. If I could get one for around 3k I would seriously consider it. I also asked about buying a dongle and they wont sell me one. They said I would need to buy FSX which was around 2.3k
            Working...
