I'm a very consistent ball striker and Qolf balls aren't even close (at least by my standards) to consistent for SkyTrak (or GC2) for Launch, Flight, Spin if you know you're numbers. When you change the golf balls characteristics that drastically by weight and cover, it changes everything.

With a Prov1x on Trackman I carry a 7i 187 yards. Just by manipulating real golf balls alone, I can carry a Nike Mojo 200 yards, and if I hit a Prov1, I can carry it 10 yards less due to spin characteristics with ball speed and LA being the same. The Qolf balls didn't come close to mimicking anywhere close to spin and LA for me, which can be huge factors on distance.

I find that my wedges chew up the Qolf balls very quickly. I put a hole in my first impact screen after about 9 months of use. The hole was right where the 9 iron and wedges hit. I think the spin and the rough golf balls are the main cause of screen wear.

Ok, took it to the range and hit range balls, and the Skytrak is dead on. Looks like I'll have to limit ball hitting in the garage to pw and shorter til I get an enclosure built for real balls.
