  • Boost on JNPG and TGC

I'm just about to pull the trigger on some sim software but need some information about the boost in JNPG and TGC - I am limited to 2 iron due to ceiling height.

Am I right in thinking that the boost set in TGC affects all players?

Ideally what I would like is to set boost for certain players for certain clubs, e.g. boost driver only for me and driver and irons for the girlfriend so it's a bit more enjoyable for her. Does JNPG give you the option to do this?

You can set boost for certain clubs, so you could just pick a few clubs to tweak the boosts on, and just always select them for a given player. The actual selected club doesn't matter (i.e. you can hit a 9 iron, and have driver selected and it will still correctly play the 9 iron shot). Edit: This is just for TGC.

Thanks. I ended up going with TGC and am doing exactly what you described which seems to work well apart from having to remember to change the club.

I don't think there is boost for Skytrak. Boost is in the settings in GSX for foresight and ProTee.

So when you GC2 to JNPG there is absolutely no interfacing software? The values delivered from the GC2 work straight in JNPG without any adjustments? Quite amazing.

I didn't say anything about JNPG, only TGC. When I had JNPG there was an interface but no boost settings.

danielrobertbush there is boost settings for gc2 on JNPG in the interface. You can adjust boost settings for different players and save them in the interface. It doesnt work in tourny mode though which i believe is a good thing.

erikh5014 Hi Erikh, very interesting information, thank you so much. I think the only reason now that I would be against JNPG over TGC as it seems so much better to my needs, is due to this subscription issue. I literally have no internet and don't want to have internet. Is there anyway that JNPG would work without internet or does it require it to function to check the subscription everytime upon startup?

I dont think so. The interface has to verify the sim pass when you turn it on.
