I can almost bet that your mat is grabbing the club, closing it down, and causing less back spin than you are using to seeing outside.

Just wondering Seth, with all the different types of mats out there (I personally have a Martin Hall 5 star mat), is there a mat or mats that SkyTrak recommends?

Carry is the only important number on irons. Roll will depend on conditions.

UPDATE: I built a new platform and installed a Divot Action Mat. That works to eliminate the hooks and my distances are better.

has anyone had any experience with these mats? they have these at the rang near me and seem ok... but there is no data available... would love to know how the skytrak would go with these.
