Perfect Golf + Steam Link + Skytrak?

Hello,
I'm trying to figure this one out as it's been driving me nuts for a while.

I seem to get stuck at the main menu of Perfect Golf and it's asking me to select a controller, and that's it. It looks like the keyboard and mouse combo acts as an emulated controller and PG just can't handle it.
Is anyone using the setup as described above? If so how did you make it work?

For device type select mouse and keyboard.
For swing type select simulation.
For simulator type select Sky Trak.
Leave simulator mode set to none.

After you select Sky Trak a new window should open for the simulation console, then you can connect to Sky Trak, and game.

Thank you for the response. So when i use it directly from the computer, it looks like I can follow the steps you described above. However, through the Steam Link, I get stuck at this screen (See photo) and there's no timer. It just stays there forever...
