When would Skytrak come with club data add-on?

Just like GC2 with HMT unit, I wish Skytrak could make an add-on that could include club data information. For me, attack angle, face angle and club angles are very important in practicing and that's why I really like practicing with Trackman and stuff.

I know there is Skypro out there but if I have to change club, I have to change that device too so... But it would be nice if they can implement Skypro before making an add-on unit first at least...

With Skytrak+club data add-on if the price is lower than Ernest Sports' ES16, I'll be sold. It really looks like Skytrak data is up to par with Trackman now. But if that doesn't come, I am leaning towards ES16 as well...(although I might have to wait a little more until they get their data as accurate as possible with firmware updates).

They have R-motion which very well could be the answer. I was not a believer in r-motion until last night. I played a live round with a good golfer using r-motion and it performed beautifully for him and changed my attitude towards the tech. I think they have something special with that device and hopefully integration with Skytrak is just around the corner. Fractional cost structure as well.

I think Seth said something about this in another thread...

Yes it was discussed and is hopefully being worked. Not a ST owner just yet and have R-Motion inbound with reviews to follow shortly after. This would def boost sales for both units drastically given the collective data provided if they can make it happen. Of course more to follow...

My question is though, would R-motion work with the range practice software? Or only in TGC software? I want to practice seeing club data using R-motion if available. Not to mention if R-motion data would be as accurate as Skytrak vs Trackman...

I wonder if they will integrate the Skypro with Skytrak. I was told when I purchased Skytrak early last year that this was likely. Conceptually what's the difference between R-Motion and Skypro

Accurate club data is crucial for anyone wanting to improve their swing. Without it, it's hard to understand what went wrong or right with certain swings. I added club data to my system around Xmas time. It took me a while to figure out how to draw and fade the ball. My first couple of rounds, I maybe hit 40% of the fairways..... see video below( the video was made 2 weeks after getting my sensor mat). Now 5 months later, I hit close to 80% of the fairways. If I keep my ball speed at 150-160, the accuracy goes up. Understanding the relationship between face angle and path is key. I try to visualize the path as I swing. My last round IRL, I only missed 3 fairways and the misses were less than 10 feet off the fairway..... so , no searching for balls in the trees. Rmotion would be a great addition for ST users.

We are currently working on several club data integration options. Stay tuned...

Please nothing that requires attaching sensors to the club shaft.

agree with pdxkurt. I have the Skypro prior to getting Skytrak, would not want to deal with having to attach it to every stick and then calibrating every time. Sometimes having to re-calibrate the same club after a few swings, this gets old fast.
              Working...
