Skytrak Armour

My skytrak just arrived in the mail and I am looking forward to building my simulator in the basement this summer. I would greatly appreciate opinions on the skytrak Armour versus the skytrak FMJ

A lot of discussion on this topic has occurred previously, if you'll search for it in the threads discussing both products. A quick synopsis might be that they are both effective, high-quality products and that owners of each seem equally satisfied. Arguably, the most important take-away is that selecting one over the other is far less important than simply acquiring one, either one, for the peace of mind and functional protection each provides a ST unit.

thanks gmanjeff, I read the thread and the posts were a few months old, they both sound excellent to protect the skytrak but I was wondering if by now there was a concise and clear winner

I own both, and use the skytrak armour. They both are good, but the Armour is thick enough and heavy enough that I know a stray shot will simply bounce right off, without damage, and without fear of the unit tipping over.

I could be wrong but I don't think either one of them are for sale anymore.
