Skytrak No-reads . My answer that worked well.

I use Skytrak for practice for me and my teenagers. When I went out the other day to practice, I could not get it to read 20% of my shots with irons. Driver was ok more often. I asked my son how things were for him and he said some days good, others not. I have a FMJ case that sits directly on my hitting mat. The mat is stable so no issues there. My son said maybe it was not level so I saw him level it. Still nothing. Later that day I went back and removed the FMJ case. I tried some shots and all was perfect. Then I looked at the adjustment screws. Ding Ding Ding. My son had it lifted 1.5-2 inches off the ground. I turned the screws over so that the FMJ sits on the floor and adjusted it ever so slightly to level. BTW, the FMJ is a great protective case, we just misused it.

Now I have no "No-Reads". This worked for me. Hopefully it works for you.

BTW I checked the Skytrak setup info and they say to have the Skytrak level with the hitting surface and TIP "Ideal hitting distance is 11.5 to 12.5 inches.

Yep. If the unit is raised above the surface, anything off a tee will probably be fine but irons will likely go underneath the cameras. Good catch!

hmmm... been having issues having my putts not read and having to re-putt 2-3 times again. Might have to lower the legs of the skytrak to see if that is the issue for me since yelling at the skytrak/screen hasn't been working.

Skytraks are very sensitive and their feelings are hurt very easily. Speak sweet nothings to it and you will get further with it.
