  • TGC VS JNPG Using Skytrak- Video

    Hello Everyone,

Decided to do a video on The Golf Club vs. Jack Nicklaus Perfect Golf using the Skytrak. In the video I play 3 holes at Pebble Beach using both programs and give input on my experiences with both. I also provide still shots at the end of the video of both. Hope this helps anyone who is considering buying on or even both of these simulator options. Please excuse the bad golf in the video as I am recovering from an injury. Lol. Here is the link:

Wow ban city, you cant talk bad about TGC. It's like telling someone that their baby is ugly. I will probably be banned myself for saying this.

Lol. Banned for what?? Is this not a forum designed to allow people to voice their unique thoughts and opinions to help other golfers? I own both games and play both games. I happen to like one more than the other which is my right, is it not?

MHO - TGC blows that other one away. I can't stand to look at that hokey ball tracer on PG. Holy N64 Batman! Interesting that PG plays easier, cause I've only heard that it plays harder and "more accurate". Whoops! 😁

    Nice video OP.

For some reason I like that ball tracer because it reminds me of GC2 for whatever reason. I probably like it because without it Perfect Golf makes it hard to see the ball as clear as it does on The Golf Club. That is one area that is probably better on TGC for sure. I just like how detailed the courses are and how there is only 1 version of each course approved by the game instead of having to go through various other versions that just honestly suck. I played a local course here on TGC which is TPC Oaks San Antonio where The Valero Texas Open is held and they had a hole with whales and a ship going across the water....really? Lol.

Haha, underdog no prob. To each his own. I've seen the same. Colonial country club was garbage as well. That's a design thing though. FYI - there is a PG v TGC battle here though and sometimes it's fun to stir some schtuff up! 😁

      Good luck going forward brother...

Underdog6 you are new to the forum. On this forum these -which one is better- comparisons always end up in a fight. We run TGC tournaments here. JNPG runs their own forums. We will lock this thread and delete it as soon as it turns unfriendly.

Thanks. I understand now. I play both and just trying to provide some info to others who might not be able to afford both options at once.

Great work thanks for the comparison. TGC greens seem a lot less forgiving, what are real "normal" greens like? TGC or JNPG? Because I talked myself into a game against real single digit handicappers, and suddenly I feel I should be competing, even though I haven't broken 90 in 25 years.

i was thinking... "wow, this skytrak/pc combo is fast" then i heard your comment editing the video... i have JNPG on pc not the sim version, and i quite like it also. i don't have a favourite, but if i had the money, i would also buy E6 and use them all... to me there is no 1game that has the best of the best features from every game.

Thanks for the comparo video. I'm just getting into sim golf with WGT and ST, but would like to branch out to one or both of the sims you compared.

Good video..... I like TGC's grass much better and I might prefer the water on PG. Sorry Under..... but that ball tracers is not for me. I really wish that the TGC could shut off the tracer from 40 or 50 yards in....... why would you want it? I like the tracer on the drives and irons so I can see the shape but close to the green it looks bad.
