This is a short vid showing the turntable hardware for our new mat concept for the Skytrak, GC2 and Ernest launch monitors. Please PM me with feedback or questions.

How far away is the laser dot from the edge of the turn table as shown? What is the max distance you can get it away from the edge of the turn table?

We haven't measured yet. But we will put a variety of screw holes so there are options on where to place the Skytrak. Of course you don't even have to use the screws and you can place the Skytrak or a different launch monitor anywhere you want on the turntable.

Nice looking device if you have the room. For a gc2 you need 7' from wall to ball + 2' from gc2 to ball X 2. 1 only have 15.5'.

So your looking at about 17-18 feet needed. Nice device but you do need a lot of space.

As a guideline we give out 12 feet of width to be able to swing left and right handers in a room. The Skytrak hitting area will be about 1 foot off center with the turntable. So adding 1 more foot for the other side, you will need about 14' in width to use the turntable with the Skytrak. The GC2 hitting area starts at about 1'6". So that adds 3 feet to the minimum 12' feet to swing lefties and righties in a room. So you will need a little over 15' with the GC2.

Sorry for the poor quality ahead of time. Here is the unit in the mat system.

Can you please put a Skytrak in there so we can see where the laser dot is relative to the turntable?

                  Yea

I can. But the turntable went back to the metal fabricator for a few minor tweaks. I'll have a vid up of the Skytrak and GC2 on it in a couple of days.

That's pretty sweet! How long do you think it will be before you are ready to sell these, and at what price point?

3-4 weeks before they ship. Around $1300 for a 4x10 turntable mat. No case will be included.

The big green button turns the unit and the other buttons control some TGC functions such as aim, flyover, and continue when on the scorecard.

For my Skytrak I decided to just move it and I locate the alignment very quickly by simply using a wood index. While not as fancy as the other video, it cost me $10 and I finished in less than an hour. /it is now glued down so the alignment is consistent and the skytrak is not affected by the hitting of the mat during a strike. Works well and we do r/l play very easily.

I did something similar, I made a couple of patterns of the SkyTrak metal protective case and drilled out 3 holes for the legs. I just turned the legs upside down. I aligned the patterns and then screwed them through the mat to the wood below. Works great. Just pick it up and put it down, always ends up aligned. Takes seconds. No more than on a real tee and finding the next golfer is a lefty and your standing in the wrong spot....LOL.
