Well dang! I just ordered two 3140 CP2's from Tom Hospod. I told him I would be using Swing Catalyst etc. He didn't say anything about the 3160's. Wish I had known since the 40's require more light! Like they are literally arriving today. Facepalm.

So, I was told that the price Shardak received must have been an error, or "stock reduction event", and the 3140CP list price is $720 (though he first told me it was an OEM price, which is usually less than list). I ended up getting him down to $590 for the 3140CP, and $688 for the 3160CP after pointing it out, and dangling the opportunity for future business carrot.
He back stepped and gave me a new quote for the cable as well claiming he quoted me an 8m cable instead of a 5m cable which is $55. I purchased the cable in the link Shardak posted above.

Reviving an old thread... Foresight still has not made IDS cams work with FSX even though they are fantastic cams I have 4 of them and looking to sell 2 if anyone is interested. I have a 3130LE-C-HQ and a UI-3140CP-C-HQ if anyone is interested. They work great, but they just don't work so well with the Foresight Sports software. Otherwise I'd keep them. LMK if anyone is interested.
