Most garages in the US have a little slope from the home to the garage door in case of flooding. Is this an issue with me hitting into a screen towards the house? It's about half a degree of slope, or .7% of slope. I remember reading about importance of it being perfectly level and was just wondering about this.

Hey Taylor, the SkyTrak should be level, so just adjust your mat using a subfloor and/or shims if possible. -
It's not a big deal. Tees on any golf course are built with between .5 and 1 degree slope back to front and left to right to facilitate drainage.
If you want to adjust you have easy two choices. 1. Set the LM level. 2.Set the LM at the same angle as your floor.
With 1 you get pretty much the same result as on a real golf course. With 2 you will get the same result as you would on a perfectly level lie.
Worrying about either is kind of like picking the fly shit out of the pepper.Comment

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I too have a slope in the place that I'm planning on putting my setup -- didn't really notice it until I got my net/mat combo.
Is there a general rule for how much of a slope is still ok? Are there certain LM's that do better with a slope than others?Comment

I built I hitting platform using leftover 2x4's and plywood to give me a level hitting area. I want to say that my garage floor had an inch drop over 5 feet. Even though it is level, it still feels like the ball is above my feet.Comment
