I recently installed carpet around my simulator area, and it has caused additional static. In particular, I have seen static when I accidentally touch my Armour cover of my ST. I am curious to know if anyone else has encountered this and what your resolution was. I am considering running an additional ground wire to a ground plug and connecting to the Armour case to ground the device. On the other hand, maybe the case is already grounded (via screws connecting to the ST) and I need to isolate the electrical connection between the ST and the Armour case itself? My next step will likely be to determine if my Armour case is already grounded, and if so, isolate it to see if that helps.
