SkyTrak_Seth , so far I'm not able to log in my account using 3.0, assuming that piece isn't working? After a few attempts, it just sits at "Logging in..." and have to close the app to get back to the main screen.

Aside from that:
- Graphics update is great; looks much nicer and smoother.
- No-reads are about the same, not a big issue with my Skytrak anyway.
- Bag mapping, skill challenges all worked fine.

Request:
- when displaying multiple shots, can the last shot have less opacity on the tracer (or vice versa, previous shots have less opacity while the current shot is solid)?
- Skills assessment: for longer clubs, especially woods, would it make more sense to remove the green and just have the flag stick?
- Can all of the UI elements have an adjustable opacity setting? TV burn-in isn't a big problem these days but it can still be a problem from daily usage.

Just finished a practice session using it without any issues. The new graphics seem nice and although I am currently on the free-range package I didn't notice any new numbers. Will this version be able to select what you are interested in seeing as I would love to be able to see Peak height and descent angle.

as frackh said - much nicer and smoother.

But you might want to tone down the brightness of the greens on the practice range. They are extremely bright on a computer monitor and worse on a projector. No amount of adjustment on my projector could get a good combination of colour brightness or contrast to get it right. I got the driving range looking nice on computer monitor and projector. But once the ball landed on the green in "follow ball" mode, it was so bright it was near impossible to see the ball etc.

The other thing is during one of the practice sessions, the ball tracer was the same colour as the green I was hitting into. Not the best combination there.

I agree with the comments above need the tracers in general to be less solid - little more opacity and it would be nice to be able to pick the colour you want for the tracer. Being someone who is colour blind in some colours, having the option to pick the tracer colour would be great.

Driving range looks much nicer and the addition of a percentage for accuracy when hitting into a green is a nice addition to the main screen.

I know others on the forum have requested to see more data on the main screen of the practice range, like ball flight height. Whilst this would be nice, I wouldn't want to have it at the expense that the screen then becomes too cluttered up with data everywhere. Which may need to see the data that is already displayed made smaller in font size, which in turn would make the screen more difficult to read.

Shot history is also much nicer as well and the scroll option is back (yeah I know pet hate of mine when it stopped working in v2.6 LOL)

All in All, extremely nice update.

how far away is skypro integration? is it still on the cards?

I tried it out. Other than bogging down my 4 year old laptop, it looked and played nice. I didn't notice anything new other than graphics. Can anyone summarize what all is new in this version?

Found 3 bugs.

Version 3 didn’t save my overall settings. Changed distance to metres and when I quit the program and restarted it, everything went back to default, being yards.

Sessions settings are also not saved. I put in different altitude, temps and humidity and this was not saved when I quit the program and restarted it, all settings went back to default.

after hitting a lot of shots using 4 different clubs, I found that in the shot history I was unable to delete some shots. In particular the shots that I could not delete from the history seemed to be the first 4 shots of one of the clubs that I had used. Only on one of the clubs, not all. I could delete any other shot, but not one of the first four shots. This problem was also evident in current available version 2.6.

Has the ability to add offset to E6 been added? Trugolf said they were waiting on skytrak to implement it from its end so it would work as it does for other platforms

Thanks! No-reads won't have anything to do with the software, so you shouldn't see any change there.

Regarding your requests:
1) I'm looking to change the tracers but couldn't get it into this release, so probably more like v3.1. I think previous shots will go to reduced opacity.
2) We'll be splitting out the current skills assessment to cover all clubs. So the current one will really be for irons, while woods will have fairways instead.
3) I doubt it, but can check into it.

how far away is skypro integration? is it still on the cards?

Thanks for the feedback! The green is actually the same green from pre-v3.0. The new environment took a lot of work and we didn't have time to get the new greens into this release, so they will come with v3.1.

I think the idea is to let users pick which parameters are shown at the bottom - not add additional, but rather assign a parameter to each of the 6 'slots'.

Club data is the next release.

UPDATE: I was unable to reproduce any of these. On the first two about saving settings, is it possible that you were not logged in? If you are not logged into the app, we have no profile to save those settings to. I was logged in and the main profile and practice settings all saved when closing/re-opening.

Also, I hit 6 shots with several clubs and then went back and tried to delete the first 4 plus some other random ones - all deleted fine. Is there something specific you might be doing that could help point me in the right direction?

I had the chance to test this at length last night. No issues noted, logged in ok, was able to offset screen etc. measurement changed to meters, and it saved. No misreads.

Overall I found the experience awfully similar to the previous version.

How do we pick the parameters displayed at the bottom? Is this to be added?

What is the club data solution? Skypro?

Took note of some more details.

My V3 of Skytrak was extracted into a folder on the C:\ drive. Folder name is Skytrak3.

Noted that my settings were not saved at all when I logged back in. Yes. I am logged into the application. Also noted that when I went back to use the Skytrak V2.6 that all my settings in there had been lost as well, but previously they were always saved. V2.6 is installed in the default folder name created.

I'm definitely logged in with V3 of skytrak. Going to the settings after login to set "metres" my username etc is there.

in regards to shots in history not being deleted. I noted that this time I was testing different golf balls, just using a 6 iron. So clicked on club compare for each different ball I tested - 3 in total. Did about 20 shots with first ball, 20 with second and 30+ with the third ball. Did a mixture of deleting shots on the practice range. When I went into history, I clicked on "Show Averages" for the first 2 6 iron clubs and went in and out of history several times. Then when I went back in for the last time, I tried deleting some shots from the first 6 iron data. Unable to delete the first 3 shots from that first 6 iron I used in the history.

Just noted. After logging into V3 again. I went into the "About" section and under the "Unit Registered to" it said "Please Log In".

Not sure why this is the case?? maybe this is the issue?

Note - Just created a second account using Skytrak V3. Settings look like they are saving now.
