Hello All,
New Skytrak user here in the UK. I have been using my Skytrak in my net in the garden with my iPad Pro successfully using the Skytrak range in network mode no problem.At the weekend I upgraded my plan to Play and Improve to try to play some sim golf.
I have been trying to get the WGT app to connect with no success following the Skytrak guide, starting Skytrak in network mode and then closing Skytrak app but WGT looks for the Skytrak device does not find it and then says unable to connect , turn on skytrak device and try again.
I called support who confirmed my plan is linked to my Skytrak device , I was asked to delete then re-install the WGT app which did not improve the situation and got elevated to second tier of support who took some further details and the person helping me is going to be calling support in the US to investigate further.
I am asking if anyone has experienced this and can help, I have trawled all the threads that I can find that have some similarity to my problem and tried some of the suggested fixes to no avail.
Additionally does anyone know if when you tap the connection button, which takes you to a page which says direct mode or network mode , then press next where there are 3 choices direct, network or usb mode, if you then select network mode the next page that appears has a button named Proceed to Network Mode. My question is , is this page purely an information page describing how to connect the unit or should the button actually function. On my unit the button is greyed out and does not function and the only way I can connect if it has not connected on start up is to power cycle the Skytrak unit. The hard reset button underneath does not restore the ability to connect in direct mode either.
My network is good I can use the SKYTRAK app range no problem in my garden , just can't get WGT to connect and am confused by whether the connections "PROCEED TO NETWORK MODE " button is functional or not.
Any help gratefully accepted.
