    No fuctionality suddenly...

So... over the weekend I 1) upgraded to the new ST 3.0 and 2) installed a new router in my home. Now I have zero functionality with SkyTrak. Red dot never goes away and not a single shot is recorded in either the Skytrak software or TGC. I'm in direct connect USB mode so I can't see how having a new wi-fi name/password would affect my shot data or functionality. Anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

Figured I would uninstall the new 3.0 and re-install and see if that helped and now the stupid software won't even load... sits at 0% after I double click on the icon and then locks up after a few mins without progressing at all.... #FAIL ... So... now what...?

Skytrak CS says this is a known issue and someone will contact me in "several business days"... I love having thousands invested in a setup with no ability to use it...

Got on with Skytrak and did remote access and they were able to fix the software.. If anyone else comes across this it's a fix suitable for them to do not us - had to have very specific files deleted from the Skytrak folder. All is good though. Glad I didn't have to reformat my laptop or do anything else severe.

Did they give you a list of the files they deleted? I haven't done the upgrade yet, but was planning to. I'm a software engineer, so perfectly comfortable doing stuff like this on my own, rather than waiting for SkyTrack tech support.

Glad they got you sorted. Sounds like something didn't clear correctly with the upgrade. What they deleted was your local database file. To make it really easy, if you are stuck on the loading screen after update, you can just clear the entire cache folder.

Go to C;\Users\[Current User]\App Data\Local Low and then delete the SkyTrak folder in there.

Once you open the app again, it will recreate it and you should be good to go.
