    Creative Golf 3d

    As much as I've researched I still cannot find a ton of info on what people think of this software. I definitely want something with a 1 time fee instead of annual.

    I tried the e6 demo but $1800 is pretty steep. Unfortunately my current computer can't handle TGC.

    So can anyone give me their thoughts on creative golf 3d running on skytrak? How does the mini golf perform? I found skytrak putting in e6 (demo) to be pretty bad. How is it in CG3d? What about the actual courses and the other game modes?

    Any input would be greatly appreciated. I wish there was a demo!

    I own TGC & JNPG and have tried the demos of Trugolf and the creative 3d. It comes in last as far as graphics,and pretty much every feature. Its playable if you have no other choice I guess but I'd upgrade my PC and get one of the other 3. The minigolf was fun for the kids as was the target shooting.

      Even the minimum specs for TGC are a little bit overkill... The recommended guts are very overkill, unless you're looking for a billion fps.

      I​​​​​ am ignorant if TGC 2 will be more demanding, but idk if that's even going to be something we get upgraded to, so I'm not worried about it.

      I'm running an old school A8-5600k and a gtx 950 and I run TGC in 1080p with solid frame rates and no problems at all, ever. I've played a few hundred rounds in the past year.

      My 2 pennies for you:
      Either upgrade your PC or watch Slickdeals.net for a good deal, which pop up almost daily.

        Put up your computer specs, might just need a video card upgrade to get TGC playable. Maybe a 1050 card and i bet it would be smooth at 720p (which still looks good, I ran at 720p for a while when I first had TGC). I have the demo for Creative Golf and it’s good but no where near other options.

            Someone say arcade emulator 😉. I will check the specs but I got side tracked by the arcade emulator!!!

              Gosh that's close!!!! My gut says the I3 with a 1050 video card should run TGC at 720p or PG at 720p. 4GB of ram might be a little light too.

              I am not sure if you can return video cards but I would be tempted to try the following. Get the GTX 1050 video card and try TGC 1 from steam for around $30 most likely. Set the resolution at 720p and try a few courses. I would also try PG and see if it will work. If neither works you are out the $60 for the steam versions of the PC game. And hopefully you can return the video card if it doesn't work out.

              At 720P, the demands are MUCH less on the hardware vs 1080p. I was running 720P for a while and it looked great.

              I use the demo of creative golf 3d alot with my kids and its a pretty big step down IMHO. Does it work? Yes but TGC and PG are both much better and more refined. Plus by the time you buy the courses, you will end up spending more money.

              Anyone else know if TGC runs on an I3? My guess is yes but hopefully one of the other PC guru's can weigh in.

                I have the 1050 and I have no issues. I run it at max.

                    Does this demo actually work with Skytrak? Skytrak support recently told me they only support the demo for e6.

                      It does work but is pretty pointless as you can only play one hole or take three shots in the other mini games. You can replay the hole or mini games. You don’t really get an idea of how it will be in the long run

                      I think this limitation for one hole or three shots is no problem. This is especially about trying out the hardware and whether you like graphics. Based on the demo, I bought the full version (a one-time fee). I have used JPNG so far, but I do not like their pricing policy. I do not want to pay additional fees each year (except Skytrak fee). I have been using CG3D for more than a month and I am fully satisfied. Unlike the JPNG, there was no spontaneous disconnection of the skytrak from the game (JPNG was a very common problem). In addition, CG3D is more usable for practice, including the ability to train chips and putting. CreativeGolf 3D I can only recommend.

                    For others, the Course Library is available for purchase in the skytrak e-shop.

                      I currently have e6, TGC19, and Creative Golf. They all have their pros and cons. I think Creative has the best range features of any of the software. It gives a lot of data plus has a club gap tool. I do admit the graphics are the lowest quality of all but the courses are unique and course play is pretty realistic as far as the physics of ball reaction. I think the demo is very limited but it is worth trying. The putt putt courses are fun for kids but if your skytrak struggles reading putts then it may not be worthwhile. Good luck.

                        Hi,

                        Anyone tried it with the Quads? I've just downloaded the Demo, everything is fine except for the putting, it's just not picking up the putts.

                        My quads doesn't have the putting analysis turned on.

                          You can choose automatic putts, the computer will choose the number of putts.
