    Skytrak not triggering at all

I purchased a certified refurbished Skytrak directly from SkyGolf last week. First few days were great but now I can only get to trigger by waving an iron right in front of the laser about 2-3 inches away from box. After a couple hours on the forum it seems like the laser curtain may be bad but wanted to exhaust all options....thoughts?

Set up - in my garage plenty of light, tried in the morning, afternoon with daylight and at night with lighting last night.

I've hit probably 200 balls - Titleist with and without logos, Callaways, Vice and hit with every single club in the bag at minimum 10 times - I hit probably 50 with my PW from 10% swing all the way up to full swing with ball on laser, inch in front, behind, left, right. NOTHING, not a single Trigger

I have hit hard wired to PC via USB - I also tried all of this with network connection
    -Hard reset device
-took out of case beside mat
-out of case directly on Mat
    -uninstalled software
-downgraded software to 2.4, figured worth a shot
    -reinstalled 3.0.1
    -switched to LH

I'm out of ideas, frustrating to get this new toy and spend hours building set up to have a device that won't trigger at all.

You switched to left handed? Did you then put the unit between you and the ball and hit over the top of the unit? That will tell you if the laser curtain is bad for right handed players. Unless both laser curtains are bad.

Try looking at the SkyTrak with your phone camera - you should see a purple light coming from the top right (or top left for LH) which is the IR curtain that detects the ball first moving to trigger the camera. If you don't, first confirm via Google that your phone doesn't have an IR filter on it, but whereas most cameras do, most phone cameras don't.
