Skytrak stuck in 4:3 mode when I have 16:9

Started up my skytrak tonight and it opened in 4:3 mode when I have 16:9.

I’ve upgraded to the latest version however I had already used it with the updated version and it worked perfectly.

Anyone else had a similar result?

    Anyone know a fix?

Reviving this old thread as I now seem to have the same problem...

On my Laptop the SkyTrak app is stuck in 4:3 aspect ratio, and I can't see the outer parts of the app screen... I've uninstalled, reinstalled and cant get it to display again in widescreen format?

Any ideas from the group here on how to get my app back to widescreen or 16:9?

I would suggest to check ur video card output for your display. I know for my MSI laptop I have two different areas to tinker with, the Nvidia settings and then the Intel settings. It took me a couple tries to solve, not withstanding the Windows 10 update that caused me to have to make the adjustments again. Good luck!

        Thanks for that..

Yes, I'm looking in both my Intel Display settings, and my general display settings... Tried changing a few things, to no avail...

Oddly, it's only the SkyTrak app that opens in 4:3 looking display, where it cuts off the left and right edges of the app screen.. so I can't exit the app (the "x" in the upper right hand is cut off) and can't see the full "Rapsido" logo at the bottom left either.. just the last few letters.. very odd.

Even tried uninstalling the 64 bit and installing 32 bit... same thing. no other apps do this, just SkyTrak.

Update... I flipped my display to 1280x720.. applied the settings... then flipped back to 1920x1080 and my SkyTrak app opened normally again... not sure why that did the trick after multiple restarts and re-installs...

I still don't have the ability to minimize or maximize the app window.... but at least I can see the entire app screen now.

        Update again!!

Just read another thread where someone pressed "ALT + ENTER" key to force a minimize. I then clicked the maximize window button, and now everything works like a charm.

Very odd.. but hope this helps someone else with the same situation... I think the app was stuck in some sort of minimize or maximize window setting... forcing the minimize with a keystroke, then maximizing got it back to normal.

There are 2 duplicate threads on the same topic, so let's continue any conversation in the other and let this one fade away
