  • Bagmapping with Skytrak question

I've been following the Skytrak evolution over the past few months and have a question about the bag mapping feature recently introduced. I've tried to contact Skytrak directly about this question to no avail. While creating your bag, can you add as many clubs as you want for bag mapping purposes. For example, can you add a 7i and also a separate 3/4 7i. I would find this valuable to have a separate set of swings registered to a particular swing/club combination. Especially for wedges, I would find this extremely helpful when mapping what a full SW, 3/4 SW and say a 9-3 SW distance - so it wouldn't be out of the ordinary to have 3 separate distance mapping swings for each wedge in the bag.

I don't believe you can do that. I haven't gone through a bag mapping session yet as I have been too focused on the skills challenge.

I plan on working though one tonight or tomorrow and will report back what I find out.

You can add which ever club you want, think the max is still at 13 or 14 clubs (no putter). There are drop down lists for each of the club as well as it's corresponding distance (you specify these distances). You can also specify how much gap you want between each club (i.e. 10 yards with a +/- 5 yards). Once you're done hitting the shots, it'll display the data. It'll highlight significant overlaps as well as gaps beyond your specified limit.

So in theory, you specify thirteen 7i and go to town.
