JNPG and stops registering shots

So the other thread I had was saying that I was getting dropped connection but that’s not what was happening. It stays connected to the sky track but for some reason stops registering my shots. Almost always happens on putting. In the SimConsole it says the shot data wasn’t sent.

When this happens, it doesn’t pick up the shot on soft swings. It will turn the top light from red to green on harder swings, But still won’t register any shot. Disconnecting from perfect and reconnecting doesn’t affect anything. I basically have to quit Perfect Golf and restart it.

Very frustrating because it typically happens within three or four holes of playing.

I hope this is something on my end that I can fix .

PG will reject SkyTrak's shot data if it looks wrong or invalid - as it appears from your endoscope photo. Btw, you're indicating that you're going to be hard work if you can't attach a proper photo.

Ensure SimConsole says putting mode is enabled when you putt - if not SkyTrak will try to attempt to detect your shot as a full shot and fail.

Also play around with the Putter icon in PG (on the swing arc meter thing), and also the Arm SkyTrak icon in PG at the bottom right of the arc.

Ensure the unit has ample battery. I can't recall how you're connected but best put all you know in this post.

I'd be glad to help. Can you give us some info on what type of shot you were trying to hit when you had the errors. As in where was the balls location, what club was used and what mode the unit was in? If your trying to put from off the green and haven't cycled your skytrak to putting mode you'll get an error like this just like shimonko has stated.

Thank you both for the input. I can't recall if this happens when I putt from off the green, but perhaps that's the problem as I haven't been clicking on putting mode when off the green. It only happens when putting so this would make sense. Once I get this "error" (perhaps user error) I can't get the box to register properly again with out restarting the game. I try setting to Normal Mode in the console and arming or disarming. Nothing seems to work.

Ill make sure to pay attention to more detail if this happens again. Im hoping its just from not changing to putting mode from off the green. thanks again.

best thing to do ThreeChip is jump into a multiplayer round with any of these these guys and play 18 holes and they can give some advice during it. It really helps on troubleshooting and you learn shortcuts really quickly they are on discord or PM them here.
