Skytrak Software in 4:3 instead of 16:9 after update.

Started up my skytrak tonight and it opened in 4:3 mode when I have 16:9.

I’ve upgraded to the latest version however I had already used it with the updated version and it worked perfectly.

Anyone else had a similar result?

Anyone know a fix?

I was just confused by this - I'm assuming you meant upgraded the SkyTrak app and not your OS. We didn't change anything regarding the sizing. Usually on a fresh install, the app will open in 4:3 ratio by default. Then, after you size (most likely maximize) the window, it will continue to open however you last had it when you closed it. Are you saying that it reverts to 4:3 every time you open it?

I hit alt + enter to go into full screen and it is back to 16:9. Tried going back to minimised screen and it full screen and for the life of me can’t get it to go to 4:3 so I have no idea how it happened on the first place.

In any case it’s fixed and if it happens again I know how to fix it.

I'm so glad I found this post!!

I just had the same problem...no clue how my app got stuck in 4:3 mode. Adjusting my display settings got it closer, but still did not have the maximize/minimize/close app function in the app window....

Then I tried your <ALT> + <ENTER> to force it to minimize, then maximized the window... and it's all back to normal!!

So odd.. but at least now I know how to fix it if it happens again!

Crazy. The only way I can see that happening is if you happened to accidentally hit <ALT> + <ENTER> previously. There's no setting to force it to 4:3 once you've changed it - your options are either Maximize the window or use the 'Restore Down' option and drag the window to whatever custom size you want.
