    Intense disappointment!!!!!

So I got my skytrak about a month ago. So far so good right?

Well, about 2 days after the Skytrak arrived, I was doing some work around the house and injured my shoulder.

Long story short: If I don't respond to the physical therapy in the next 2 weeks, surgery is likely path.

    ARRRRGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    SO FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

Ouch....... I hear ya. I haven't played much since June. My play consists of working on the short game now. I would say listen to the doctor..... I really didn't stop playing when I was told to and now, I am heading for surgery as well. Funny part is that they don't know what to operate on first. The hernia can be done at the same time as the groin. The shoulder is the oldest injury and may be the last thing done. I can swing without pain as long as I swing at about 85% speed.

oh man that sucks. While I don't have an injury, a few weeks after I got my Sky Trak and was eager to try it out, I found out that I have develop some swing fault that I cannot hit the damn ball properly. I have been toeing everything from driver to the wedge. So I know the feeling. I have a new ST unit and I cannot even enjoy the damn thing. So frustrating.

I have a damaged disc resulting from a birth defect that's been plaguing me for years. I'm good for now, but I'm always a little unnerved that today's going to be the day.

Just remember, golf will always be there, the more seriously you take recovery and the easier you are on your shoulder while you heal, the sooner you'll be back playing again. Don't rush it.

        I'm rooting for you.

I have also been injured. No surgery planned, they say I have degenerative disc condition (not enough space between discs in the spine) and not much to be done about it. I have stretches that I do that seem to help, bought a TENS device that I wear when I am hurting. It has really reduced the amount of golf that I can play. Most days I dont even want to touch a club because of what it will do to my back.

It sucks because I was just starting to really improve prior to the back pain starting, and now I have gone backwards alot as my swing feels all wrong even when my back isnt hurting.

I know the disappointment part - so I've been hurt so many times in my life - from Dirt bikes, Skate boards, wake boards, snow boards, Mountain bikes and on and on, and also golf.

I had a get off on my downhill Mountain bike Jan 2016 broke my hand and wrist and smashed my shoulder, but it didn't seem like my shoulder had any issues. 6 weeks later started playing golf again, and July 2016 I hurt my shoulder again. Keep on playing golf and riding bikes and then I got to the point I couldn't even left my arm up and the pain was unreal. I gave in and went to the Doc in Jan 17. That was the end of my golfing and bike riding and started PT for a frozen shoulder (I had no idea what that was) and it happens to be a very bad thing and very painful. I also got a MRI and have a rotor cuff injury which is what caused the frozen shoulder (that's what I think). Can't have surgery because of the frozen shoulder,

I'm now at the point that I have 90% of my range of motion and I've been able to start golfing a little I try 2 times a week 9-18 holes 85% swing and not too much pain. But the suck part Jan 18 I'll have to see how much pain I have and can handle with the rotor cuff injury and might have to go in for surgery and be out another 6 months - this has been the longest I've been hurt and not being able to do anything and I didn't even know I could mess up my shoulder so bad.

Hopefully I get healed up and come back and play on the sim tour again
