SkyTrak is not uploading my practice sessions to SkyGolf360 (USB mode?)

  • SkyTrak is not uploading my practice sessions to SkyGolf360 (USB mode?)

    Correct my assumptions here. My SkyTrak device is supposed to upload all session data (practice, GI, Back mapping) to SkyGolf360 right? I have my SkyTrak setup in USB mode. When I log into SkyTrak software and click on my profile icon it shows "Data Synced" with a green check mark next to it.

    The history button inside skyTrak correctly shows all of my data.. mostly practice sessions before I play rounds of TGC.

    Issue #1 - The SkyGolf360 button inside SkyTrak does nothing when I click it. It says "internet required" and I wonder if USB mode doesn't share my internet access.
    Issue #2 - SkyGolf360 website only shows data up to 09/04/17. I'm going to guess that is when I switched from using Network mode to USB mode.

    It seems to me that SkyTrak unit is not syncing history data in USB mode. This is odd because the software itself seems to know when updates are available so why can't it sync my data?

    As of the last release, Apple made us disable the 360 link in the app (in the Profile). We'll figure out what to do about that.

    But as long as you are signed into the app while doing your sessions, then it shouldn't matter what mode you are in. If you have an internet connection during any mode, it should sync instantly. If you don't have an internet connection, then it will sync the next time you have internet. Is it possible that you might have two different SkyGolf 360 accounts?

      It has been months since I've used my iphone or ipad to use skytrak so all of this missing data I am referring to is from my PC sessions.

      I only have one skygolf / skygolf360 account that I am aware of. I can login via username or email but the data and account appear to be the same if I login and check either one. Logging in to SkyGolf360 either way still only shows SkyTrak data as of Sep 2017 whereas if I look at SkyTrak history via the PC app it shows data up to yesterday.

        Hmmm, that's strange. So what happens if you just open the app with internet access and don't connect to the unit? If you go to the Profile, does it remain on "Data Synced"? Does it go to "Sync in Progress" ever? Does it ever say "Sync Error"?

        If you do the above and let it sit for about 5 minutes, then go to Profile > ABOUT > Send Logs > Send Current log. Put "can't sync data" in the subject or body and I'll see if I can find out what's going on.

          I just loaded up SkyTrak app on my PC without connecting to the SkyTrak device. It says "Data Synced" with the green checkmark and I have not seen it change. I go to History and see all the data up to yesterday (2/1/2018).

          When I click on send current logs it just opens up windows explorer to this directory: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\SkyTrak\SkyTr ak

          I don't have a native mail client on my PC so I'm not sure what it thinks it will use to send it. If you want me to email them manually just let me know which file(s) you need and the email address.

            I've a similar issue. My sessions are available in SkyGolf 360 up until 17th Jan (I think all of these have been when I've been using in network mode in the house as I've a wifi connection). However my 4 x sessions data do not appear in SkyTrak 360 when I use direct mode. In the SkyTrak application on my android, if I log in Data Sync'ed has a green tick.

            What do I need to do to fully sync all session data with SkyTrak 360?

              Any confirmation of this issue SkyTrak_Seth ? It seems obvious to me that SkyTrak will not upload my sessions to SkyGolf360 that take place while connected to my PC. I'm not sure if it's the fact that its from my PC, or via USB mode, or both? Regardless, I'd really like to be able to see my session data in one centralized place.

                My USB range sessions as well as Skills Assessment sessions sync with SkyGolf360 no problem(have to let SkyTrak app run a bit while internet is connected).
                I wish my "Lifetime Shots" would include the Creative Golf 3D shots.


                Is there anyway for the user to get total lifetime shots including simulator shots?

                  Firstly, can I thank you for all your comments on this forum - your help and feedback on this site made all the difference in me having faith in the SkyTrak unit and I love it. Like many people on here, my ball speeds and distances were much lower than I thought they should be at first, but I’ve increased my driver BS by about 15mph since Christmas with the help of the SkyTrak. (‘Problem’ was much as discussed elsewhere - net/indoor effect, hitting the mat first, ego, soft ground/ moving mat, swing having become lazy, poor striking - it adds up!).

                  I’m having the same issue as the OP - my Skygolf360 account hasn’t updated since 3rd March. I’ve looked at the various comments on this forum, but can’t get it to update. The SkyTrak app says “data synced”, but ...

                  I’ve sent a log, but not really sure how that works. Will you be able to see it?

                    First thing I would ask is - is it possible you have 2 SkyGolf 360 accounts? (ie uploading to one and checking another?)

                    Second for logs on PC, all it does it open up the directory and highlight the log requested. All you need to do is attach that file to an email and send to logs@skytrakgolf.com. Just make sure to include the problem in the subject or body.

                      If you are certain you were logged in for those sessions when using SkyTrak in direct mode, then all you should need to do is connect your device to the internet and then open the SkyTrak app. It should realize an internet connection when it launches and upload the data within the first minute.

                        We decided against including those shots because the flight model is different for every sim partner, not to mention bunker shots etc throwing your data off. So we only upload SkyTrak shots.

                            Where is the option to delete shots on the Skygolf site and where is the HLA column? It's good to know if my 7 iron shot went -337 left but I'd also like to know where the ball started. I'm not always on my tablet or home PC and it would be convenient to have all stats on the Skygolf site
