I've had my Skytrak for a year and a half, never had a problem. Last night started getting no reads on chips and putts playing TGC. Would finally just hit the ball hard, it would read it, and go over the green. I am using wifi. I was going to invite some people over to play, but now I'm worried about this happening again.

Does it stay 3 greens? I was going to post a new thread, but if you're getting what I'm getting, maybe there's something going on... here's what I've been having issues with lately:
Connect skytrak fine to my wifi, play a little TGC, and then lose connection to my wifi (so from top to bottom - red, yellow, green). I have been playing for over a year and had hardly ever had a disconnect, but now I get them often... but sometimes it'll stay connected for over an hour and I won't have any problem, it's weird.
If you're just staying 3 greens, then I'll get out of here and start a new thread.

Yeah mine is staying with all lights green. I had a problem like yours once, I was using my ipad as a hotspot to play TGC on my laptop. The skytrak was trying to connect to my ipad, pluged it in to the computer using USB worked fine.Comment

I can't help much as I am having similar problems. Since I bought the unit late last year I get no reads on shorter shots but this week had a new one. It wouldn't even register full swings at one point in JNPG. I reset everything, restarted the computer, skytrak and even switched the wi-fi connection through a different adapter but nothing resolved the issue. I even tried to use the SkyTrk app only and it wouldn't pickup anything there either. All 3 lights stay green and the laser remains on even with a full swing. After 20 or so minutes I got so frustrated I gave up for the night and haven't had a chance to try it again.
Has anything changed in your setup, clubs used, lighting etc.?Comment
