    Lower? About 4,000 with 24* 4 iron, 6,400 with a 36* 7 iron, up to about 9,500 rpm with 52* wedge.

This will give low launch and low spin. Have you sprayed your club face to see the strike location? This would be a good idea to do.

      Exactly this, for me personally.

I am seeing exactly the same thing...

I have had my ST since last June and didn't really follow spin numbers since I was looking mainly at carry distance, which seems to be correct.

With the new optimization measures, it was very obvious that my spin on my 8-iron is about 1/2 of what the standard it. Kind of weird that my other numbers look good (ball speed, carry, etc) which doesn't correlate.

Same here. If the carry and direction is accurate, I'm some what okay with that. But I still would like to know the true (or close) backspin.

Do any of you have TGC and if so, do you have shot tracking on? If so, you can hit shots there and then download the file and compare to what you had before and post results showing the decrease.

I need to check if I have that.

Another thing I noticed just messing around tonight is when hitting with a 5i and selecting that iron on practice mode, I was getting 10k spin on just an easy swing. It's like the total opposite. This is with the new update they just released.

I played this year's first game out yesterday. It is only confirmed that what is written here, the backspin generated on the mat and recorded by ST is significantly smaller than the shot from the grass. The distance of the shots roughly corresponded to the ST, but the balls stopped very fast (medium hard green). When I hit 9iron on 130m green I stopped the ball to 2m.

As long as it's reading the carry correctly I'll be some what okay. Is the curvature displayed on ST accurate when you were hitting it outside?

Everything was fine for irons (except backspin).
Hybrib, FW and driver were about 5-7% longer.
                  Working...
