We finally found a workaround for the crash issue on iOS 11 where the app would crash immediately if an active HDMI cable was plugged in at the time the app was launched. I just went to verify it on my iPad using release version v3.1 and now it no longer crashes. Coincidentally, my iPad just upgraded to iOS 11.3. To verify that I'm not crazy, can someone that had this issue give it a go after upgrading to iOS 11.3? Maybe we don't need to implement this workaround after all.
