  • Skytrak switches from left to righthanded automaticaly sometimes...anyone else?

I have had the Skytrak for just under 2 weeks. I find it pretty amazing actually. I'm getting used to it more each time I practice. One thing that is baffling me and I don't see where this has been mentioned anywhere else, is that the dominant hand is frequently changing on me automatically. I am lefthanded and for some reason, rather frequently, the unit will switch from left to righthanded. The dot will be set for lefthanded, disappear, then reappear set for a righthanded swing. All that I have to is go back into the session settings (where it is still set to the lefthand), switch it to righthand, then back again to lefthand and it works. Normally this is not a problem, maybe a little frustrating, but it's not a real issue until you use the bag mapping feature. Because the bagmapping feature takes so long to complete, at some point during this session it will switch to righthanded. The problem here is that you cannot change the dominant hand in the settings because it's greyed out when your in the middle of a bag map. Hence, you really can't get through a full bag mapping session. I have to end the session, then go back into settings to switch the dominant hand again. Then start a new session. This has been a real issue.
The thing to be clear here is that the setting is lefthanded and does not change in the software, even though the unit resets to a righthanded dot. I have to go into settings, switch the dominant hand from left to right, then again from right to lefthand. The unit will then change the dot to lefthand and then I can continue. Anyone else have this issue?

Mine doesn't do that in the Skytrak app, but occasionally while playing JNPG it will come up as a righty when I'm a lefty, but it's an easy fix in JNPG. As far as the app goes, it always stays on the hand I set it up for on mine.

I don't know...but I would try turning off the SkyTrak and then turn it back on...hopefully it would reconnect and show the correct hand without having to re-boot the app.

I've experienced the same thing a few times in my brief ownership... I wasn't sure if it was some type of glitch or whathaveyou. I power cycled the unit and that seemed to solve the issue. I've also noticed that it occurs much less frequently now that I've moved my router much closer to the device.
