Skytrak and iPhone 7

Hi

Im thinking of buying a Skytrak but dont have a screen etc. yet so initially will probably just hit into a net and use either an iPad mini w/Retina or else an iPhone 7 to display the shots.

I suspect the iPhone 7 will be much faster. Does anyone know what kind of delay i can expect to see on an iPhone 7 ?

I have used my iPhone 7+ with my ST and the delay isn't any different from using the iPad Pro. The delay is around 3-5 seconds after each shot. However, I might be one of the few people who doesn't mind the delay. If I ever get my impact screen and projector set up, I might have a different opinion on the delay.

You won't regret getting the ST, I got mine on Christmas and I still love it!

I switch using SkyTrak app on my iPhone, iPad and computer. The delay appears to be the same on all of them - about 3 seconds. I use the phone when I just want a quick session during lunch (work from home). The only downside is the tiny screen but the ball path is easily enough to pick up.

Just ordered the Skytrak. I'm going to look at connecting my phone to a projector via a HDMI for range use.

Was going to buy a net but found i could buy archery netting as an impact screen for less so going to just go straight to impact screen and projector

I knew there'd be some delay. 3-5 seconds seems about as quick as it gets with the Skytrak (certainly 3 seconds). Just wanted to make sure it wasn't like 7-10 seconds. I didn't want to have to go off and buy a PC or another iPad
