So can you hook up a PC with TGC running to the projector, and use an IPAD for the touch capabilities to aim, etc? if so, what is the process like?

Yep.
the iPad app is called AirKeyboard.
Been using it for over a year because my computer is not in my garage where I hit.
It just controls your mouse and keyboard, but some smart dudes on here made a ''skin" for it so it's super user friendly to control TGC

awesome... I plan to put my gaming laptop on a swivel mount in my garage. and have an ipad on a stand, or swivel mount that comes out from the wall. I wish I could justify a touch screen on my laptop, that would be easier, but the price is just too high on decent ones.

Ya I would go iPad with AirKeyboard before touchscreen laptop even if everything was free, but then again that's all I've ever done... But it's a pretty cool skin that makes everything so easy to use. Hopefully some guys chime in with their setups cus maybe there's something even better.

Can you use an android tablet? is the skin available for android?
I have a really nice nvidia shield tablet that I could repurpose.

No idea. U would have to search the play store and see. It's a red icon

I found it on the playstore... no cool skin, but there is the options for keys, mouse etc... so it should work.

There's a couple of TGC skins on there, I just remember having to scroll forever to find them.
