Is it possible to hit it in the hole on the skytrak driving range?

I was hitting some wedge shots to a green on the skytrak driving range and had a shot land a few inches away from the hole. The hole just looked like a black circle on the ground, so I'm curious is it actually possible to hit a shot into that hole? Or it it just there for show?
