Looked promising as a way to work on some things like attack angle etc on a budget, but the data is so far off plus there is no way for a normal person at home to calibrate or compare against a control (GC2/HMT) or Trackman. So you just end up with inaccurate data that doesn't help you and possibly leads you in the wrong direction. 4 -10 degrees off on angle of attack is pretty unacceptable.Last edited by RyanP; 06-09-2018, 03:08 PM.

I just got a Skypro in anticipation club data integrates with skytrak. Took it with me to a lesson and compared attack angle and clubhead speed with a trackman 4. The clubhead speed was surprisingly close. Most of the time it was right on or within 2 mph of what trackman was reading. Tested on 8 iron and Driver. The attack angle wasn't as close but seemed to be consistent enough to say there was a -5 degree bias. Which seemed similar to what the guy in the video was experiencing. It did go up and down with trackman so I think once you get the bias, it does become useful. Guess the hard part is finding a GC Quad or Trackman to calibrate it against. But if you're looking for just more accurate swing speed on your skytrak interface...this doesn't seem like a bad option. It does come off and attach pretty easily. Calibration is basically hold a phone on the clubface and swing it side to side a few times.
