Suddenly short distance at the range
I have been using skytrak couple of times at the range and it looked like distance numbers where accurate. Spin has been way off, example 7 iron was at 3500 and normally its 6500.
Today I used skytrak in the morning. Sun was up but there where clouds in the sky so there was no direct sun light on the unit. I also tried to cover it up to get more shade but numbers where strange.
Suddenly irons went like 10-30 yards shorter than normal. My pitching wedge is constant at 120 meter and with rangeballs I hit them 110-120. But today skytrak show 90-100 meters even if I saw the ball landed after the 100m mark at the range.
My 7 iron had same issue, I saw the ball land at 145-150m but numbers only show 130. I can’t recall this has happened before but then again I haven’t used skytrak this early in the morning.
Is it the sun that makes the numbers bad? Or anyone else seen numbers getting strange after some use of skytrak?
