  • postioning Skytrak for side hill practice

I want to practice below-the-feet shots in the garage with Skytrak. I can create a sloped mat, but how should Skytrak be positioned? If it is on the sloped portion of the mat it seems like it won't recognize the slope. If it is on the level part of the mat then the laser dot on the sloped portion of the mat will be too high to register a shot.

Has anyone else tried this? What did you do?

On the slope...although the unit's inclinometer might try to adjust - 5 degrees...your shot shape as read by the unit should be true. A correct swing (correcting for the slope) ought to show ball flight as ending toward or at the target. The usual slice off that lie ought to show just that.

I wasn't aware the Skytrak unit did any incline adjustments (?). I thought it only sensed an incline. I was planning to do closer to a 10 degree incline.

That's what I recall...get the bubble level close to centered and the unit can center its reads to within a few degrees.
    Working...
