Any ideas for using a SkyTrak for both left and right handed? I can't use the "turntable / lazy susan" setup as my simulator area isn't wide enough. A left handed person has to hit on the far left of the hitting mat and a right handed person from the far right of the hitting mat. I currently have an R-Motion but am exploring the idea of getting something that is better at reading ball data as opposed to club data. Any and all recommendations are appreciated.

Here's another thought. If I get the SkyTrak and R-Motion integration for TGC, would it work if the left handed person hit using both the SkyTrak and R-Motion and the right handed person just hit using the R-Motion?

I have a 6' wide mat and I and have to pick the Skytrak and move it each time. I mark a place on the mat to align the front of the FMJ. I purchase a 3' wooden dowel from Lowe's and attached it to an extra hole in the bottom of the FMJ with a lag bolt which makes it that much easier to grab it and move it over. I thought it was going to be a pain in the ass but it hasn't been.

I have a 10 foot wide CCE mat and a SkyTrak. We have 2 left hand golfers and 2 right handed golfers in the house. Originally I was going to get a swivel and hit offset into my 16 foot wide screen. But I was told if you are playing a foursome with 2 lefties and 2 righties that the offset setting change in TGC and/or Skytrak would be a nuisance. I was also told that picking the unit up and switching direction is not as tedious as it sounds. Does anyone have experience with manually picking the device up and flipping it around after each hit? Does anyone have additional feedback related to just leaving the skytrak stationary and hitting over top of the device?

I have been doing the righty lefty thing for a while. It works great. I thought it would be an issue but it works great. I tried hitting over the top but found that moving the Skytrak was easier. I simply mark the location for the Skytrak for each side. I put a handle on the top of my Skytrak Armour which makes moving easy. I have the Skytrak moved by the time the next guy is ready for his shot.
The software handles switching from righty to left flawlessly (both TGC and JNPG)

SkyTrak_Seth I purchased a 5x10 CCE Mat but originally I was going to purchase a wider mat. If I purchased a wider mat, wouldn’t I still have the offset issue that everyone mentions while playing right and left handers at the same time?Originally posted by SkyTrak_SethIf you are only at 10 feet wide, then you are probably stuck having to move the unit. You could have the LH hitter hit over top the unit in the RH position, but that's not really a great solution.

If you get a wider mat then you can have both players hit from the same spot and manually move the ST back and forth. Just need markers on mat where to set it each time. No offset would be required then.
