Minimum WiFi signal needed to connect?

So I've been trying to connect my Skytrak in network mode in my detached garage and I'm not having much luck. According to Speedtest I'm getting 299 Mbps at my Ethernet connected computer right next to the cable modem and 180 on my phone via WiFi. Even with a range extender that drops to around 8 Mbps out in the garage. My Skytrak will connect in network mode but the signal isn't strong enough to stay connected.

So with the goal of running a simulator out there this winter what kind of WiFi speeds do I need?

Also, I'm thinking about getting the Google mesh WiFi at Costco and putting a "puck" out in the garage hoping that gives me enough speed.

My router is in my living room and if I am standing right next to it, I get 80 Mbps; from my formal dining room about 30+ft away through a couple walls, I get 48 Mbps; from my detached garage about 60ft away where I have my hitting setup, I get 30 Mbps and I have never had any trouble running the Skytrak in Network mode.

That’s great to hear! My router is upstairs in the “office” and has to go through 4 walls (1 is the outside brick wall) to get to the garage.
