  • Skygolf 360 Skytrak Leader boards-Driving Distance

I just cleared my history as I had purchased a used unit and I wanted to start fresh, and keep track of what clubs I use each time better than I once had. I noticed the leader boards on Skygolf360 website and saw my name on the driving distance one for the week. I noticed some crazy crazy numbers from people though. If you look at all time, 592 is the longest. I did a little digging and most of the people are putting up these numbers in practice sessions, and don't have the "credentials" to even hit it 250 under normal conditions. So its obvious that these people are turning up elevation and wind. Is there any thoughts about normalizing data from people's play sessions for this particular leader board SkyTrak_Seth ? I really don't get too much into leader board stuff but it is kind of odd that these numbers are accepted on there ha.

I attached a picture of what I am talking about.

Edit: Just as an FYI, Stou is the only one of the random profiles I examined that could legitimately hit 400 in normal conditions. That guy has some wicked ball speed.

That is a little ridiculous, with that said I wish I could come near 350! Or even 300 LOL. Should be a true leaderboard then a simulated one. I guess the Skytrak can do high-speed drives! How did you clear your data. I would like to clear mine since I have never really selected clubs and would like to see how I am improving.

Go into your practice session data on the skygolf360 website and go to bottom of each practice session and click delete. The website was really slow and it took forever but now I have a clean slate.

My number was with my home elevation and typical nice summer conditions. 1450 ft, 70 degrees F, No wind, Hard Fairways.

Thanks for the info. That is an impressive drive. The leaderboard should at least show conditions and parameters for the drive.

I found something in e6 today...a long drive challenge. The results showed the tracking device. The best SkyTrak was 264 yards (there were quite a few SkyTraks represented). The longest Trackman was 346 yds, but there were few Trackman represented. Then there's a boatload of longer drives..."Full Swing" and "TruGolf"...between the 346 and max of 395 yds.

It might not be because of jacked up wind or altitude. Someone just posted this, looks like something goes screwy on the ST software and it shot their ball over 600 yds. If you are only seeing readings, this maybe why. Ball starts out fairly straight then does the loops.

Very possible some of them are. I did however view a few sessions where most of the drives were ridiculous for their launch numbers.
