Sorry if this has been answered before, could not find it if so. Here is the problem, Skytrak has been working perfect the last few months on the laptop, never an issue at all. Finally got the room setup and purchased a dedicated gaming desktop. Install the Skytrak on the new desktop , that is the only software on the machine at this time bedside the windows 10 stuff. Anyway its a pretty good gaming PC, way better than my cheap laptop. With that being said, Skytrak does not work with it. It connects wirelessly , and direct no problem. But the top light get green for just a moment then turns red and the laser blinks on and off about every 3 seconds.
I connected the laptop to check things out, and the laptop with the Skytrak worked perfectly . Hooked up to PC, same red light on top. Did this a few times to verify and always the same thing .
Spent some time with Skytrak Help Chat just to be told he could not help and to call the Help Center. After reading the help center, we tried a few things, change out cables , usb ports , etc. Then tried reinstalling the Skytrak software, still same thing. He suggested a new cable from PC to Skytrak, just purchased another one ( although I think that was no needed ), tried it, and still the red light on top. Yet the Skytrak will work with the laptop with no issues .
The laptop has virus protection , and all the standard stuff running , along with a few apps in the background, and still no issues.
