I have had a few wedges that seem to struggle to pick up shots (the higher the shot the more likely it will miss). Have any of you tried the stickers or dots on your clubs to help pick up the club? I don't think it should be a factor but my black wedges are always read...my new chrome wedges are struggling. SkyTrak_Seth any thoughts?

The Skytrak isn't looking at the club, it's looking at the ball. In all likelihood it will be because the launch angle is too high for the ST to pick up the ball.
Try moving the ball about an inch in front of the red dot for your high lofted wedges and that should improve things.

The ball moving is what initiates the skytraks cameras. There is an invisible laser curtain just ahead of the laser dot that senses an object break it and tells skytrak when to fire the cameras as far as I understand. Sometimes you trigger this with a waggle or practice swing and Skytrak will "think" for a few seconds until it realizes a ball hasn't been struck.
As was said by Andy, really high LAs will not be caught by the Skytrak. They will be out of its field of view and it won't be able to spit out any ball flight data. Best you can do is moving the ball up about an inch ahead of the dot like Andy said.

This is all you can do... I pretty much can't hit a full lob with the SkyTrak... launches too high... ball placement helps once you find the right spot though.Originally posted by AndyF View PostThe Skytrak isn't looking at the club, it's looking at the ball.
